Life is a Rollercoaster
The Courage to See Your True Self
Life is a rollercoaster, and the primary reason we are breathing and living is Self-awareness. But let’s be honest—this is no easy path. You’ve probably heard the expression: everyone wants change, but no one wants to change. And it’s true. We all desire transformation, yet when it comes to stepping into discomfort, resistance rises.
So where is the defining border?
You can’t truly know yourself unless you are willing to change how you use your mind—becoming flexible, open, and willing to see life through new perspectives. It starts with reflecting on your experiences, questioning your thought processes, and allowing yourself to adapt. Facing your true self requires courage—and perhaps even a big smile—as you step beyond the safety of your comfort zone.
Why Self-Awareness Demands Change
To look at the aspects of yourself you’re not so pleased about requires a deep desire and commitment. It asks you to understand not just who you are but also why you make the choices you do. And here’s the truth: if you resist change, life will present the same lessons again and again until you are willing to look within. Otherwise, it’s all too easy to fall into blame—pointing the finger at the world and everyone else for what feels like failure.
But knowing your true self is not a single chapter. It is an unfolding story, one that stretches across time, expanding lifetime after lifetime.
The Ripple of Inner Awareness
When you begin to know your true self, you become aware of your energy and frequency. Change doesn’t come from the outside in—it begins within. As you shift, your outer world naturally follows. It’s a ripple effect: your inner clarity, choices, and awareness shape the reality around you.
It all begins with the willingness to challenge the status quo, to look in the mirror and ask yourself: Who am I?
A Reflection Beyond the Mirror
During my morning meditation, I received a clear visual. It didn’t make sense to my logical mind, but it touched my heart so deeply that I knew it was my intuition guiding me. At the time, I wasn’t sure why it appeared. But as I began writing this post, the meaning revealed itself.
If you don’t have a mirror, simply turn a spoon around and catch your reflection there. Sometimes, it’s not about the perfection of the mirror but about the willingness to look.
Because the journey to self-awareness doesn’t demand flawlessness—it only asks for your courage to see.
