Do you celebrate your achievements? Even the small ones? Or do you just tick them off the list and move on to the next task?
🎉 I have to admit that I didn’t always used to celebrate my achievements. I bought into the myth that “I don’t have time”. But then I remember that acknowledging my achievements is as important as completing them. So what I learned to do recently is to stop, even if it’s just for a moment and say thank you to life for another beautiful experience. 🙏
🥳 When you celebrate your achievements you give yourself permission to be a human being and not just a human doing.
🎉 Our society encourages us to be in a constant “doing mode”. Most of us feel that we can’t afford the luxury of celebrating our achievements. Instead of celebrating, we should do something more productive. Or even worse we feel like we don’t deserve to celebrate because we are not good enough anyway.
🥳 Meditation helps you to slow down and be in sync with your higher self. When you are fully aligned with who you really are it’s much easier to stop and celebrate your achievements.
🎉 Tips to celebrate your achievements, both big and small:
🌺 take a deep breath
🌺 go for a nice walk
🌺 thank yourself for all the hard work
🌺 thank everyone who supported you
🌺 reward yourself: do something that makes your heart sing but hardly have time for it
🌺 accept and enjoy the compliments
🌺take a break and enjoy a day of rest and relaxation
🌺write down all the lessons you’ve learned along the way
